To save time you may shortlist several holiday rental properties you're interested in then view them all at once. To shortlist a property click the 'Add to Shortlist' link available on all properties in the general listing area and on each individual properties' description page. To view your short listed properties click the 'view shortlist' link. You may also inform your friends and family of property by using the share button. 5. How do I book a property I like? Once you have found a property that you would like to book and it is available for the dates you require (check the property's availability calendar) you will need to contact the owner. This can be done by clicking the 'Contact Owner' link on a property's information page. Here you will see the property owners name and various ways to contact them. You may contact the owner in the following ways: Online Enquiry Form: - Enter your details in the form and click send to post the information to the owner. Telephone: - Use the telephone number provided to contact the owner directly or send an SMS/text message. NOTE: The online enquiry form may only be used for genuine enquiries about a property, use of this form for any other purpose including but not limited to unsolicited messages is strictly prohibited. Messages will be sent directly to the owners email address and a copy retained by us (CIPS Ltd) for a period of 18 months should an owner wish to refer back to the enquiry. 6. Safety and Security when Booking? Like most Internet operated services, systems can be open to abuse. Applying common sense tactics when involving any Internet payment can resolve the majority of safety and security issues. The safest forms of payment methods are credit or debit cards and through major payment gateways such as Paypal. A large majority of rental owners will not be able to accept credit or debit cards directly so payment will often be conducted using the 'cheque' as a payment method. A full name and address should be provided to you by the owner to send any cheque payments to. We do not advocate the use of Western Union, MoneyGram or any similar payment gateway unless you are familiar with the property owners. We do not recommend the sending of payments to P.O Boxes (only in certain circumstances) see 6. P.O Boxes below. We recommend to all property owners that cheque payments are cleared before providing any services. 7. P.O Boxes? We do not recommend the use of P.O Boxes for owners or agents of property rentals, unless absolutely necessary or already in use, for accepting customer payments, as this may cause a certain lack of trust. It is always better to provide a genuine postal address for receiving payments. CIPS Ltd do not under any circumstances accept a P.O Box as an address at registration. 8. Other Holiday Essentials. Most holiday rentals owners will be able to supply you with directions to the accommodation from the airport as well as other useful information such as flights or taxis. Please make sure you keep the property owners contact information with you at all times in case of emergency. Travel to all properties advertised on our sites will require a full valid passport. We have a dedicated member of staff who, on a part-time basis searches the internet for the best deals available from other relevant companies. From time to time we will offer across our sites this valuable information. Such services as Flights, Airport Transfers, Taxis, Car Hire and Holiday Insurance will be published if we feel it will benefit our viewers or account holders. 9. What currency do I need? The Euro (€) is the unit of currency on all Canary Islands: 10. How long will it take to get there? Flight times will vary slightly from different UK airports but generally speaking it takes between 4 - 4.5 hrs. 11. How do I advertise my property? To list a holiday rental property with us simply click the 'Advertise' tab at the top of most pages. Enter your details in the spaces provide at the bottom of the page and click the register button. You may open an account with us and return to it at any time to fill in your rental property details. All new accounts are given 3 months FREE advertising. Further help and frequently asked questions are available for all registered account holders. 12. I haven't received my registration email? If you have not received a confirmation email from us 24hrs since your registration, please first check your SPAM or Bulk mail folder to make sure it has not gone there.
